Hi! I’m Jordan

I am a passionate and dedicated psychotherapist, and I am here to empower and uplift BIPOC women and new mothers on their journey to mental well-being and self-discovery.

My Philosophy

  • In my practice, I create a safe and nurturing space where you can freely explore your emotions, heal from past traumas, and embrace your authentic self without judgment.

  • I firmly believe that each of you possesses the power to transform your lives and break free from any limitations that society may try to impose. Through my specialized training and expertise, I offer a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach that acknowledges and values the beauty of your heritage and the strength of your identity.

  • Whether you are navigating the complexities of motherhood or striving to overcome life's obstacles, I am committed to equipping you with the tools to cope with stress, cultivate resilience, and forge a path towards greater mental and emotional well-being.

“I want you to tap into your inner wisdom, harness your inner strength, and find your voice in a world that too often tries to silence us.”

  • In my therapeutic approach, I focus on you as an individual and your unique experiences. We all carry stories that have shaped our thoughts and beliefs, whether they originate from our family, social media, or even past generations and ancestors. Together, we will explore these stories, unravel their impact, and create new empowering narratives.

  • To facilitate this transformative journey, I draw upon evidence-based practices such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), narrative therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness-based techniques. These tools will help us unpack the stories that no longer serve you, empowering you to reach your goals and embrace your authentic self.

  • Utilizing an social justice lens, cultural awareness and trauma sensitivity are fundamental to my therapeutic approach. Instead of asking, "What's wrong with you?", I want to understand, "What happened to you?" I recognize and address the systemic and current trauma that many cultures and populations continue to endure.

  • Creating an inclusive space is of utmost importance to me, where all cultural backgrounds, sexualities, and gender identities are celebrated and respected. I prioritize holding a safe environment that honors and values the diversity of human experiences.

My Approach

Let's embark on this transformative journey together and embrace the beauty and power of your unique story.
